A Dignified Sense of Purpose

Everyone needs a purpose in life. For seniors experiencing memory loss, maintaining a sense of purpose is critical to their health and happiness. At The Courtyard at Auburn, we provide a dignified acceptance for persons with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of memory loss and we are committed to helping residents maintain meaning in their daily lives.

Our assisted living apartments foster a sense of independence while specially trained, 24-hour care attendants provide physical and emotional safety. We offer state of the art programming and staff that consider residents part of the Auburn Homes and Services family.

The Courtyard at Auburn is specifically designed to care for those with varying levels of memory loss. It's located on the campus of Auburn Homes and Services in Chaska. Courtyard residents have supervised access to a beauty salon, chapel and walking paths.

Customized Care

After an interview and assessment by a Registered Nurse, we'll work with family and physicians to establish a customized program and appropriate level of care for each resident. Residents are re-evaluated as needed to track changes in disease progression and determine whether a different level of care is necessary.

Daily Life

Maintaining daily routines is important such as doing household chores, cooking or just relaxing in one of the common areas at the Courtyard. Our residents also have the opportunity to participate in fun games, music, exercise classes and religious services throughout the day. Each resident is supported in his or her own level of independence.
